  3. Submit a copy to the International Student Office at your school
  4. Activate your studentship. It may have been set to “Passive”
  5. If you are a postgraduate student who has changed address, you need to go to Goc Idaresi to update that
  6. Renew your Ikamet
  7. Check out your department website and review your curriculum
  8. Join the official Telegram/Instagram groups for your university
  9. Ask the admins of the groups to add you to a WhatsApp group for your department
  10. Connect with fellow incoming students
  11. Save the course registration dates
  12. Wake up early, find a fast internet connection, and select your courses.
  13. Make friends with Locals
  14. Attend orientation day
  15. Ask 3 lecturers about the department and how to get the best out of it
  16. Postgraduate students, analyze your lecturers so you can find a good supervisor
  17. Get past questions from seniors. There are past questions for almost every course.
Do all these and you will be set up for success in sha Allah.
